This Privacy Policy explains how PadelSight ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you access or use our website, apps, and related services (the "Service").

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

1) WHO WE ARE

2) WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS

This policy covers personal data we process when you:
- create an account,
- sign in and use the dashboard,
- upload videos for analysis,
- interact with coaches and receive analyses,
- purchase and manage subscriptions,
- contact support,
- browse pages where we may show ads (now or in future versions).

3) INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect or receive:

3.1 Account information
- Email address
- Name (optional)
- Profile image URL (optional)

3.2 Authentication and session information
- Session tokens/cookies
- Login and session timestamps
- IP address (when available)
- Device/browser information (user-agent)

3.3 Subscription and billing information
- Subscription plan, status, and quota usage

Note: payments are processed by a Third-Party payment processor - Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

3.4 Video uploads and related metadata
- Videos you upload (which may include personal data if people are visible/audible)
- Video metadata such as title, description, file name, file size, duration, MIME type
- Upload timestamps
- Video context you provide

3.5 Analysis outputs
- Analysis file references (e.g., report and/or review video storage keys)
- Timestamps related to completion/delivery

3.6 Administrative and security logs
- Logs related to abuse prevention, rate limiting, and security

3.7 Communications
- Emails we send for verification, password resets, account notices
- Messages you send to support (if any)

4) HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information to:
- provide the Service (account creation, authentication, video upload/delivery, coach assignment, analysis delivery)
- maintain subscription entitlements and usage quotas
- prevent fraud, abuse, and automated attacks (e.g., CAPTCHA verification and rate limiting)
- troubleshoot and monitor reliability/performance
- communicate with you about your account, security, and service changes
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

5) COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

5.1 Essential cookies
We use cookies that are required for authentication and core functionality.

5.2 Ads (current or future)
The Service may display advertisements now or in the future.

Our intention is to use contextual ads (based on page context rather than cross-site tracking). Even with contextual ads, limited technical information may be used for basic operations and measurement (e.g., approximate region derived from IP, device type, aggregate analytics).

If we ever introduce personalized/interest-based ads, we will update this Privacy Policy and (where required) provide consent choices.

6) HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with:

6.1 Coaches
If you submit a Video for analysis, the assigned Coach may access your Video and limited related information necessary to perform the analysis (e.g., your name/email, video context you provided).

6.2 Legal and safety
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, or valid legal process,
- protect the rights, property, and safety of PadelSight, our users, or others,
- investigate and prevent fraud/security issues.

6.3 Business transfers
If PadelSight is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7) DATA RETENTION

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (such as security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcing our agreements).

Videos and analysis files may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you request deletion or we are required/allowed to retain them.

Note: backups and logs may persist for a limited time even after deletion.

8) SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information.

9) YOUR RIGHTS (EU/EEA)

If you are in the EU/EEA (including Portugal), you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, such as:
- access to your personal data
- correction/rectification
- deletion/erasure
- restriction of processing
- data portability
- objection to certain processing
- the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

10) CHILDREN

The Service is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
